A busy mum with wonder boys

I started jogiing with my sons again.  It's quite hard to wake them up in every early morning.
We jog for 15 mits, then practice batting.
I toss a basket of balls made of papers for my son. He hits them one after another. That's all.
The league game is starting soon. He needs to practice more if he wants to be a regular player.
 

        

 I took my first son to a shogi class as he wanted to. About  ten children were in the class. They looked a few years younger than my son. They were playing shogi with professional shogi players. One of the professional shogi players was playing with four children at one.  There were two part-time teachers, who are  students form an elite university and belong to shogi club at their university, and two other teacher were instructors qualified as a instructor of the Japanese Shogi Association.
Everychildren there played serious shogi and looked so happy.

 I had an seasonal influenza vaccination with my kids last week.
 There have been concerned of a shortage of influenza vaccine because of flu pandemic in this year.  It is not only new influenza vaccines but also conventional one. Our family doctor told me that my sons might not be able to have the second round of vaccination.  
It comes to new influenza vaccines, vaccinating us will take some time.   


　　　　　　　　

We went camping last week.  Although it was bad wether, we enjoyed very much. My eldest son tried to kayak for the first time.
He got very excited when he had put the life jacket. He joined the kayak school. First, he learnt how to row the kayak on land, and he went to the lake. He learnt very quickly.  He was in a group of six people. They rowed their kayaks, and soon disappeared from my sight.
It was two hours later that they came back.



After that we back to our campe site, and had big lunch.
They cooked lasagna, gnocchi and green curry.
It was beautiful!

 I happened upon a lady on a train. To my surprise, she was staring into hand mirrors and apply makeup on the crowded train without any hesitation.
She was standing in fornt of door with her back to the door. That is she was doing her makeup toward the passengers.
She put eyeliner, then eye brows, cheeds, and took out an eyelash curler.
This is hopeless!

 My youngest son had a baseball game.
He played a dobleheader. First, he played the practice game for rookies' team in the morning. Then he played the game for junior's team.
He was sitting on the bench in the morning.
But in the afternoon game, that is in the junior's team, he played the catcher.
He was a first batter. 
He hit for an infield single off. Then the next batter followed hit. They run and stole home.
Unfortunately, the game was rained out causing a no game.

I took two sons to  various clinics in last week.
First, I took my youngest son to ENT doctor as he felt pain in ear and had a bad cough. He has slightly asthme. 
He was diagnosed as otitis media and bronchial.
He has to take many pills for a week. 
Then I took my eldest son to the eye clinic for treatment of false myopia.
And I took him to internal medicine as he complained of pain behind the ear.
He already had mumps so this pain seems to come from swelling lymph flands.
At this time, everyone is likely to be poor health.

My eldset son studies about Japanses history at school. He is quite interested in this. He's studing about MIchinaga Fujiwara who is the most flourished  person in Fujiwara family who is a noble and had great power in Heian piriod.
There is a famous "haiku" that Michinaga read. 
 「この世をば　わが世とぞ思ふ　望月の　欠けたることも　なしと思へば」
The mean is  "All of the world belong to me"
My son said that he liked this "haiku."

An e-mail came over unexpectedly. It was from an old peer.
It's been over a year since I left the office where she is.
Now I work for another office, so that I have no time to see old peers on weekdays.
I think I will take a day off and contact her at sometime.

   

It's been for six months, since I worked at this office.
At last, PC was fixed for me. I can use it for correcting proofs of translation and doing research, so on.
My working environment is improving day by day.
Although I may have more work, I'm happy with this.
